    Camera Bag Recommendations

Andy, To give you an idea check out this on the Crumpler Pretty Boy L which is the same size interior as the Muffin Top 3000, give or take a centimeter. The photos show the Nikon D40 which is the same as the D60 in size. So it`ll give you an idea what will fit. Looks like your good for a...

    Spare divider/s for Crumpler bags

Hi All Was about to sell my Crumpler Budgie smuggler bag on ebay but have realised the dividers have gone missing. Anyone know where they can be bought from? Need to be about 9cm wide. Have tried crumpler directly and distributers but they were pretty unhelpful. They look something like...

Need 2 bags. One for hiking and one for general landscape work.

Yeah the Tamrac Adventure 9 is a good choice too. I have an Lowepro Orion Trekker 2 which is similar style, but smaller. Its a great bag for travelling and a general day pack. And like you say lack of quick access isnt a problem as you frequently stop when your out and about so gives you time to...

New Lens ideas for Africa safari trip (nikon)

They look good thanks. Did you find you used on of the lenses more than the other? And was the 300mm fixed focal restrictive when your unable to move closer/further away from your subject?

New Lens ideas for Africa safari trip (nikon)

Thanks, the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 APO HSM Looks good and affordable especially if I pickup a used one. Just wondering if it`ll give me enough reach, even with teleconverter. Paul

New Lens ideas for Africa safari trip (nikon)

Hi All I`m lucky enough to be able to go on an safari trip to Africa in May and I`m wanting to buy a suitable lens for the journey. My budget is about £800 max and I`d rather sell a few lenses that I dont use that often to fund the purchase. This is what I currently have for my Nikon D90...

Anyone recommend a messenger style bag?

I`d recommend Domke f-803 Vanguard Up-Rise series Lowepro Classified range Think Tank Retrospective series I personally have the Vanguard and a Domke F-803 lookalike made by Safrotto that cost half the price on ebay. Still ok after 3 years of use.

Need 2 bags. One for hiking and one for general landscape work.

Yes to get to your gear its a case of taking the bag off your back with the K3. But thats the only negative. Its really well put together , holds plenty and its comfortable. Think the K4 is the same but just a bit larger so you can fit a 17" laptop instead of 15.4" I bought mine from Naneu...

Need 2 bags. One for hiking and one for general landscape work.

How bigs your coat ;-) Seriously, that could have quite an impact on how much room you need. If its just an anorak that folds down i`d suggest kata 3n1-30 or Naneu pro k3l / k4l. Theres a Naneu pro k5 which has more room but it might be too large. Anyway I own both 3n1-20 & k3L and am...

Anyone use a Crumpler bag ?

Not sure if you`re interested but I have a hardly used Crumpler Ben`s Pizza XL in blue that is similar in size to the muffin top 4000. Can have it for £10 + postage if you want it. http://www.cambags.com/bag-type/shoulder-bags-menu/crumpler-shoulder-bags/item/182-crumpler-bens-pizza-xl.html

    looking for a bigger bag

Your welcome! I've never tried a fastpack 200 but they look like they hold a similar amount but perhaps the kata is a bit more configurable. Since writing my review I realised the "hidden" top two slots are accesible when the side flap is opened ie when you have the bag at you side to get the...

    looking for a bigger bag

I`ve updated my review with some body photos showing different configuations. http://www.cambags.com/bag-type/slingbags-menu/kata-sling-bags/item/387-kata-3n1-20.html The hip straps arnt removable but can be hidden away in the sleeve that runs the full length of the back of the bag. Hope...
