My website is www.petetaylor.org.uk and is hosted by clikpic, I've had it for a few years and, to be honest, I'm beginning to think that their format is perhaps a bit dated now. I have to reduce the size of the images (I use full-frame Nikon) in order to post them and the size of image...
Really?
There is a considerable difference between those folks who manage to wangle a "Media" bib, shoot 4k "images" (never to be seen again snaps) at a clubbie event and those who actually walk the talk.

Simon, as you know I have not seen a Grand Prix since that Ferrari was brand new, are those track-side colours really as bright as they seem? Perhaps we could get Doc Palmer to paint the grass at Lodge in?
Looking forward to the Kilton GP (or whatever it is this year).
Cheers,
Pete.
I'm not quite sure about the categories you have supplied for Nikon; the D300 and D700 are completely different beasts and what about the D800, D3 and D4?
The implication of your question is that the survey is for "serious" photographers, yet some of the cameras on your list are not...
I was looking at them the other day; their price for the Sigma 150-500 was a hundred quid less than the next contender; having ventured up the "buy it" road, out of curiousity; all was going well until I found the bit which added 20% VAT! This pitched them squarely against known honest traders...
Basically the piece says that all the world is awaiting the replacement for the D700 but this is not it. The writer surmises that some features from the D4 will be carried over to the D800, as and when it appears. There is also some comment about production capacity for a more mass-market...

The Sigma 150-500 does not exactly get rave reviews for it's auto-focus speed, which I something that I find to be vital in Motor-Sports. It also seems to eat up batteries. I think it would probably be superb for something like wildlife photography.
I have no experience of this unit personally...
Don't forget that with high G forces hefty objects become very hefty, and loose objects become very loose. If you are going to be chucked about, I doubt is you will be allowed to take anything which could compromise the structure of the aircraft, or its human contents.
Shooting from inside...
"Have you any more...?"
I've got around 10 B&W,5k slides plus 20+k digital... where should I start?
Have a look at the Motor Racing Archive gallery on my site:
