I am looking at Method 1 - just wanted to check, does it copy directly between the SD card and the USB HDD? It doesn't copy them to the iPad first and then back to the USB HDD or something silly like that? (as I wouldn't have enough capacity on the iPad.) Thanks

So there's 4 holes depending which angle you look at the grip from. 2 large and 2 small. The slightly larger hole of the 2 small ones grips the pole firmly. Not sure if the pics help but see below.
