Thanks guys for your comments, the photo does look much better with more light and with a bit of sharpness. I can't say slugs are my favourite creatures but they are good subjects to photo as they don't move very fast! LOL

I took this a week ago and was quite please with its detail, not sure about the colour balance though. Would love to hear your thoughts.

This is the first moon shot I have ever done, taken about 3 weeks ago - It's no way near as sharp and detailed as some of the photos on here but i liked the atmosphere of the shot.

Many thanks - never heard of the rule of thirds so will be going to look that up now, and the remark about the head being in the shot makes a lot of sense now I look back at the photos. Great advice, very much appreciated.
