This works well in mono, I like the composition and and the life situation especially with the two subjects up front interacting and the guy at the back almost appearing to seek inclusion by way of his expression and body language.
Lots to see here.

Thank you very much David, really appreciate your reply. Did a few simple portraits with this subject and was lucky to have great light on the day.
A big thanks for those who have looked and liked, thanks for your time.
Here is another simple portrait of the same subject taken a mile up the...
Been making the most this year of the small town where I live for getting some shots, it's quite diverse in terms of buildings and history, nice to find some good spots right on my doorstep.
Is this using Photoshop? Also an unedited version of the image would be useful to give a better idea of what you are asking the software to achieve. If it's Photoshop and probably applies with other similar software, the select tool is not an exact science and will work within a set of...
I like everything about this aside from the yellowing of the teeth and eyes brought about in part by the slightly under exposed areas of the shot which lack contrast. This could pop a lot more with a little work on the image.
This is a fun shot. I think you've executed it well and got what was in front of you. I'd have been tempted to alter the positioning of the key objects and maybe try and separate them from the background utilising just sufficient DOF to keep the objects sharp. The background is a tad busy, it's...
The dog shot is cool, as others have touched upon there are some focusing issues which I'm not going to talk about. Yes it's great to shoot loads and hone your eye and then going forward deciding which lighting conditions and composition give you better outcomes and how to work around...
I've been using Lencarta for my lighting gear including a couple of AD600's and have found their service to be flawless.
Had a couple of very minor issues which happens when buying a load of gear over a period of time, the issues were resolved with no fuss whatsoever.
Yep, you've shown you can turn the camera on and take pictures. You need to challenge yourself more and find ways to capture images which are interesting to look at. The light in most of these shots isn't really on your side which means if you're dead set on getting some shots when the light is...
You're going to have to work with that combo and be a bit pro active in terms of deciding when you need speed and constantly adjust depending upon your chosen quarry. Poor light combined with 800+ ISO = noise.
I have a 760 which I bought whilst in denial regarding the need for a 7D2, which...
These work ok, the smart bulbs which I have a number of are not bright enough to get smaller apertures for the stuff I was photographing. These are proper bright 6000k daylight, very useful to have in a small studio...
Having used both the 1.4 x and the 2 x on a 5D4 I personally prefer the 1.4 x which I often use with the few Canon lenses I have which will accommodate the converters. I don't own the 2 x as I borrowed one and was not thrilled by it. I found that cropping the image to get the same framing as a...
