I looked at the flash it says 'Canon E-TTL II' When i look in my Menu it says "TTL", How would i update the firmware on the flash, As some peeople have got them working right from the off. Luke

Looks like i need to update the firmware. But cant seem to find anywhere online how i can do it. Looking at the manual online, My AUTO CHECK light doesnt come on as it says it should. Luke

That flash does work with the DSLRs yes. The flash is on the hotshoe. Can somebody tell me from the start how i would get the flash to work with the camara. First time i have used one and not sure if i have done it correct. I done as the instructions say. Luke

Thanks. Was does the is E-TTL auto exposure necessary?. Dont you hook the flash up and setup in the camara settings to use a flash gun the put it onto auto flash?. I am still learning so please excuse my ignorance!. Luke
