Lots of things manufacturers add that others don’t.
As you say it could easily be done but isn’t.
Having watching reviews of different Sony cameras it seem Sony ibis is crap in comparison to others and even more noticeable at longer ranges and video. There is a constant jiggle, not sure if...
yeah I was watching mark gelars and his view was performance wise its pretty much a a75 with double the MP.
slightly worse readout speed and lower a.f calculations but surprisingly a slightly bigger buffer.(seem mixed on the hi iso performance)
obviously it has more video improvements and then...
Too expensive for me and I’m still not sure about spec’s/ performance as so many reviews differ/ contradict each other. If some are true,Seems to me they have gone for headline specs but made big compromises to get there.
Exactly this i shoot for fun nothing else.
The reason I sold my last 70-200 was the extra weight when out walking with the kids.
The 1.2 isn’t that heavy but for a fixed focal length lens is noticeably heavier and having two lens at that weight for fun isn’t ideal
I tend to just carry two at a time, but have cut my lens down to just 3 at the moment(was 4)
Generally my 20 and either 50 or 28-75.
Sold my 85 as I never really like the Sony 1.8, but need to get something longer ,torn between another 85/135 or the 70-180.
I do love the 50 1.2, but the weight...
Buffer is double the a7v it seems
Compressed raw
A75-95/ A7R6- 150/ A1ii- 250
Lossless compressed
A75-35/ A7R6-60/ A1ii-100
Quite surprised they doubled the a7v
just watched mark bennets video with Gerald .
as expected a lot is video focused and this does seem where this camera has improved a lot .
Gerald does make a point to say that while the readout is far better than the a7rv this is not a sports camera and defiantly not a a1ii killer.
its a high...
Haha I didn’t quite believe the rumoured specs and the rumoured price elevated my GAS .
When I saw the price before the full specs I was second guessing if I should have waited. But not any longer.
Rolling shutter and flicker will still be an issue the a7v still has it
£4400 uk. So better than expected
No mention of actual readout speed speed, just says 5.6x faster so is that going to be around 18ms then? As a7rv was 100ms and again no mention of buffer size unless I missed it
