    Waterfall Timelapse

Could reprocess it to 1080, gopro clip was shot in that. Final file size resulted in it being done at 720. Ah Mbps, helpful autospell!

First video - of the Time Lapse Variety

A good result, especially for your first go I'd say. Is all the movement done in post production?

Non UK Is Marrakech likely to be interesting in October

High threat sounds safer than our severe forecast though.

    Waterfall Timelapse

Thanks, 1st clip was a GoPro then a Canon 1Dmk4 for the rest. The slider is from Syrp, their 1.6m track. What qualifies as HD nowadays, 1080 or is it just 4K? Also how many maps? As you can probably tell this is something I know next to nothing about.

    Waterfall Timelapse

Thanks again everyone, still getting to grips with the whole timelapse thing. I forgot the hotshoe bubble level so was struggling with leveling it at ground level. Each clip is a different shutter speed as I was more testing to see what works and what didn't, I don't mind the longest but...

    Waterfall Timelapse

Thanks all. I used to use YouTube and tried vimeo too but it's handy having any videos along with any photos all in Flickr but obviously that then has its drawbacks too.

    RIP John Surtees

On the anniversary of losing Barry Sheene too. Champion when 2 wheels involved the Isle of Man TT and 4 wheels the Nurbergring. I don't think his achievements quite got the recognition they deserved, certainly outside the motorsports community.

Hotpoint to recall some tumble dryers over fire risk

Serviced no, empty each time yes. Both filter in the drum and the larger one underneath it. I bought a dryer in Sept '15 and having realised it was on the at risk list a modification was booked in Feb' 16. Fairly quick and simple job it seemed. Jan this year (a monday) it began to smell like...

    Orion Nebula and friends

Very nice image, having tried this with a Skywatcher 200p and struggled I can appreciate the work put into this.

    'Clarkson' Parking

They might've been buying an ironing board and the boot latch wasn't working??? But I'd probably park right upto it too!

Critique First attempt at a long exposure(ish) water shot

Just the right amount of movement in the water for my liking. Opinion varies on such matters but for a first attempt I'd say you're doing OK.
