    Unusual lens problem

Consider my wound salted! How much did that set you back? That seems to be the best option in terms of wide open sharpness from a vintage lens. Did you get it from eBay? It's not the adapter, I did some research and it turns out (as was said above) the bokeh monster doesn't play well with the 5D.

    Unusual lens problem

Bugger. Ok, well mystery solved. Thanks chaps. I'll have to track down the f/1.4 I'm after for my vintage lens fix.

    Unusual lens problem

Sorry you're right, I wasn't clear - I had people in my ear whilst I was writing it. Pentacon 135mm f/2.8 on Canon 5D II. M42 with a miscellaneous adapter to EOS - it worked on my 550D. I don't have an alternative unfortunately. I will get an example shot up later. It's a perfectly straight...

    Unusual lens problem

Creativity - a learned skill or "you're just born with it"?

    Mercedes CLS500 5.0 V8

I have a real love affair with the 135mm L - but it's a difficult lens to justify purchase wise. I will find a way! Great shots and lovely car mate. I bet it has a great cold start up soundtrack! (y)

First time using a 10 stopper

A nice start, some decent colours and the water looks nice. Not directly pertaining to your technique, but your watermark is pretty aggressive and draws the eye.

Reinis, can I ask - what lens did you use for your detail shots? It has a 135mm L feel to it.

Very nicely done. You've managed to get the tones spot on for me. Quite a commercial look to it.
