Can't believe how tight the grain is in these for a 400 film, certainly a testimonial to Xtol, too. Excellent series, Ron

Nicely done, Chris, I need to try some Portra in one of my C2s.

Kowa 6 was my first medium format camera, remember the loud mirror slap. :D A few from a 1937 Voigtlander Bessa E-Messer 6x9 Skopar, various film home processed and scanned: camera

    THE WAY WE WERE.

Chris, goes without saying, be careful what you wish for, lol. This is scanned from a print, 1990 (I was 40) upon occasion of the IG inspection of the clinic, MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. No, we didn't eat at Dairy Queen.:) That's me on the left, CDR W, and some guy from BuMED (Washington DC) on the right.

    THE WAY WE WERE.

To benefit mankind, my ex-girlfriends and ex-wives destroyed nearly all of my earlier pictures. :D

Glad they weren't dire, Ron, and hope she's feeling better.

Adrian, thanks, too kind, a pity the film is no longer made. For everyday shooting I've been migrating to Fuji Xtra 400, first pic is with the Olympus 35SP and 2nd is with FED-5C with Industar 61 L/D lens:

Very nice, Roger, you certainly didn't have a cold when you shot this...;) *sigh* always lusted for a Hassie but realize they are for grown-ups.

The Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash goes for next to nothing on ebay. The last two I bought cost $12 with free shipping for the pair. A few snaps with expired Portra 160NC and lens was flipped: last two mentioned before cleaning

Andy, Ron, and Roger, thanks, fellas, yes, I still love film. Roger, they are not as plentiful as they were a few years ago. The Ricoh FF-3AF is another recommend and it takes AA batteries, too. I have a small flickr group I admin for Ricoh's FF series. Thanks again.
