The motion control is beautifully smooth. I use an ifootage Shark slider but haven't played with any motorised system yet.
In response to your question on HD, the standard is still 1080 but I suspect 4K will become more prevalent over the next couple of years.
They look fantastic and the youtube version shows them off better than Flickr is able to. I'm curious as to what you've shot them on and what kind of slider or similar you've used to get the motion?

I'm with Phil and Gremlin on the east Coast. Flamborough around the area of east landing could be nice with the cliffs. It would be ideal at sunrise to get the best light.
I'm a fan of Whitby for its Abbey, steps and the view. Also a good place to stop for lunch!

Beautiful set Stuart. The colours and composition have a real depth to them and I think the dark sky works in the second. No 3 is the pick of the bunch for me though.
