Warehouse Express are the ones who sent me the old model! I called them today and they're giving me a full refund as they don't have the new model in stock yet. Anyone else know where I can get one?

I have a Nikon D60 and I want to get the new Tamron 28 - 75mm f2.8 lens that has the built in AF motor. Does anyone know where they have stock? I just ordered one and I specifically asked if it was the updated model, it arrived on Friday, but they sent me the old model without built in AF...

I'm thinking of setting up a small home studio for my personal use. Can anyone recommend a good book on lighting etc to get me started.

I got my Oly 410 twin lens kit today. I love it! It sits great in my hands, I love the small size and weight, live view, but best of all I love the sharp photos I'm getting with the kit lenses. I not brave enough to post any yet, but I will when I'm more confident. Thanks for all the advice.:)

That's my worry too. I think I'm looking at the 14 - 54mm, but I'm not sure which zoom to go for given that I shoot in low light. There's the 40 - 150mm F4-5.6 or the 50 - 200mm F2.8, BUT it's so expensive. I've also been looking at the Nikon D50, would I be better off given Nikon's choice of...

I'm not so concerned about the camera itself as it's had great reviews, but I am worried about the range of lenses available. I shoot primarily indoors, and I'd like a zoom lens and a great portrait lens, so what lenses do you guys have that you would recommend?

These are questions for those who have an Olympus E410. What do you think of the camera? Are there a good range of lenses out there for it, and which lenses do you recommend? I have the opportunity to get one at a great price, but I want some opinions first. TIA

I guess I'll just stick with the 18 - 200mm VR lens that I've got for now, and see what else comes along then. I want a good portrait lens for use indoors, and although I love the lens I have, it's not really fast enough, and doesn't give me the bokeh I want.

I was kind of hoping for more choice, but it looks like there's only one suitable Sigma lens. The Nikon ones are so expensive!! I have the D40x on trial, would you exchange it? If so for what. (Not the Canon 400d, I tried it, and although it's a great camera, it's not for me)

Seeing as though you have a d40x I'll take your word for it. Do you know of any similar Sigma lenses that have HSM?

Silly question coming, I apologise in advance. I'm looking at the Tamron 28 -75mm f2.8 lens for my Nikon D40x. The lens has IF (internal focusing), so I'll be able to auto focus on my nikon d40x, even though the d40x has no internal motor, right? Basically what I'm asking is whether Tamrons IF...

I really don't know what to do. I have a Canon 400d but I'm not really happy with it, it just does't 'feel' right. I've looked at so many lately, they're all blurring into one!! I've also thought about the 30d. Any recommendations?

Maybe. Its expensive though, so I'd like to know how others get on with it.
