I was on a 70-200 f/4L to be honest it was just a little bit too long on the crop sensor where I was - whilst the AF was great, I was at 70mm most of the time and really wanted a tad wider... 50mm would have been perhaps better but it wasn’t in the bag and the weather made me a bit nervous...

A very cold, wet and windy night at Oulton Park for the first stage of this year's WRC. Surprised at the low light focussing of the 7Dii and pleased with the weather sealing. No real circuit lighting so very little ambient light for the latter ones of these.. Comments, critique etc. welcome.

Thank you! Focal length varied, to be honest - most of these were with a 70-200 and 1.4x TC on a 1.6x crop sensor, so 150-450mm 35mm equivalent. Depending on track position it tended to be one end or the other of this range. Spa is incredibly photo-friendly, with lots of places to shoot over...
