    New pc or mac?

Hi everyone, Sorry to be so slow at replying, I'll try and respond to you all! So from the replies it seems like her laptop might not be too far off the spec needed to run LR well (I'm not sure of the spec off the top of my head but it was a decent Dell I7 at the beginning of 2017, so 5 years...

    New pc or mac?

Hi all, I'm trying to help my sister choose a new computer set up as hers is so slow now. She uses a D810 so quite big raw files. She takes 500-2000+ photos a week and her catalogues are big. She is trying to use photo mechanic to cull images but this isn't working to import images in to...

@rockkeeper @kendo1 Hey hey, I'm here! I haven't been taking many photos since lock down so havent been on tp much. If there's anything I can help with please let me know! If you're using a scooter, depending on your strength I'd consider a clamp, magic arm, and you should be good. I use an...

    The Photography Show 2020

I'm hoping to attend this years one! I have never been before. Are there any days that are better to go than the others or are they mostly the same other than classes/shows? Any advice for a first timer?!

Nikon Z6 - for videography and photography

Thank you for this, I have looked and will need to see if nikon have made any useful updates since this review I am not too fussed about moving subjects for stills, as the majority of my still photography is portrait and dance - and with dance I prefocus I'm not really familiar with...

Nikon Z6 - for videography and photography

Yes, I'd definitely like the Z7! for photography It would be way out of my budget though as with the z6 I would part exchange my d810 /sell my d810 to put towards it and would hope it would go quite some way towards funding it. Whereas the Z7 would add an awful lot more. I've seen that the Z6 is...

Nikon Z6 - for videography and photography

Hi everyone, I might potentially be changing my camera (d810) for a Z6 with a F lens adapter due to the increased AF quality and wifi capability. I shoot exclusively through live view (and use an app to remote shoot, and the D810 is pretty slow for this! The wifi would enable me to go wire...

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

Hi everyone! I'm considering changing my set up to a mirrorless one, for improved video AF and AF in general. I currently have a d810 and shoot exclusively in live mode/remotely. I want to do a bit more video work, and faster moving/action photography, too (the d810 af is hopeless for this in...

Where should I get my sensor cleaned?

Ah, that's very kind! I will probably end up sending it to harrisons but will give cam serve a phone too. I'm not sure it can quite wait that long as I'm going to be doing a few shoots between now and then, but a good idea for keeping the sensor clear for the future! On a slightly unrelated...

Where should I get my sensor cleaned?

Hi everyone, My sensor is very dirty and definitely needs a clean. I won't be able to do this myself as I have a disability, so I would need a shop or company to do it. I have used the rocket air blaster, and it has made no difference to the dust spots (it might have removed a few), and there...

Nikon 80-200mm for use with live view and auto focus

Ok I did it!! I had to go to f9 customize control dials and change aperture option from aperture ring to camera control and it works! Sweet relief! Thank you everyone, I will take some images soon!

Nikon 80-200mm for use with live view and auto focus

I mounted the lens set at f22. I'm trying to find where I can alter the right setting. I have attached two pictures. Is this the right area? It won't let me change the apeture lock setting though. Or am I in the wrong area!

Nikon 80-200mm for use with live view and auto focus

I did try that! It didn't alter it though. I can try again though. Are there any other settings I might need to change?
