I'm taking minimal camera equipment.. simply my Canon A1, both 50mm and 28mm lens and about 10 rolls of film. however, my friend who i am meeting will be using his canon DSLR for snaps, so i thought bringing my 8mm fisheye would be cool for him to use..

I have been given a bargain of 8 x Ilford XP2 35mm for £15 but it expired in September 2012.. Will this create much of a negative (excuse the pun) effect on the film? I have shot with expired colour film in the past but not black and white.

I'm using it via the Epson Scan that comes up with a display when plugged into my mac. Im guessing that is the auto software option, am i right? is there other software to use?
It feels like the quality of scanning is degrading every time i use it... sucks!

I've just had a bulk load of medium format and 35mm developed from some travels. The negs look really nice and the colours are spot on with the Ektachrome in which i shot, yet when i've gone to go scan, the results look really over exposed and blown out. The highlights look far too...

Ive been shooting photos on my Canon A1 for about 4 years and never had a problem, however today the shutter stopped working and i cant roll the next frame on, its completely stuck, as if its jammed or something. i had to ruin the current roll to try and solve the problem.
