Amazon are selling Transcend 32GB CF 400x (Read 90mb / Write 60mb) cards at an amazing price of £28.99 in the black friday deals. I have the 16GB version and have been impressed when using a 5d mark ii for video. These cards normally retail around £40.
The deal starts today at 4pm so don't...
I bought the non IS recently and have been very impressed with the image quality. I've used lower cost IS models and they don't compare.
I will say you can get away with 1/60 at 200mm with IS but def
need 1/200 at 200mm non IS.
Outside in daylight this won't be a problem but inside you may...
Fair point but within the normal range you can explore a lot of different types of photography than investing in the extremes of uwa and telephoto. Landscapes are not excludively shot with a uwa. Not much is off limits apart from the telephoto end and you can pick up a cheap zoom for not much...

Features - 20/25 / marked down for uncoated
Handling - 25/25 / slimmest profile tested
Performance - 22/25 / v.good cons. uncoated
Value 25/25 -...

I'd tell him...
If you invest in a lens (unlike other...
Looks a bit too good to be true! the storefront says babyliss isn't that a hair products brand. Someone could of had their amazon account hacked. Normally things on amazon are marked up i find. 5d mark 3 is £1222 crazy prices.
If you get "guarenteed protection" with amazon maybe worth a punt...
I don't see any mention of multi coating on the packaging. Tho i did shine a 60w bulb at it to compare any flaring and there wasn't any noticeable difference. Correct me if that's not a definitive test as i was improvising.
I'd definitely place the 77mm Slim ND4 at the higher ends of the market. Can't see much if any difference under good lighting between the ND4 on and off. Obviously I won't be breaking mine to test whether its shatter-proof but that could be a consideration between an own brand and known brand...
