Circular Polarising Filter. Is it ok, or even beneficial, to use these on my 14-30mm. I was reading that filters can be problematic on W/A lenses. Also would stepping up a 77mm CPL to 82mm work satisfactorily, or would I get some of the filter in shot?

Thanks. I think I can recall this being mentioned now, in the early days of the camera's release. Not really that relevant to my photography though, but I'll remember to change the setting if I need too.

I read on another forum that using the silent mode on the Z6 or Z7 can cause unwanted "artefacts". Is this true? What should I be looking for?

Lovely shot. I'm having a go at this but results are a little disappointing. What camera and lens did you use? Here's one I took tonight with my Nikon Z6ii and 100-400mm lens.

I used to do a bit of Digiscoping but there's no attachments for the (Nikon) mirrorless system I tried just using my 100-400mm lens tonight. Mainly to assess the lens. Not bad considering, but not in the same class as yours, Superb.

Another great lens. Not many people would use the extra stop that the Nikon 14-24mm would give. And you get that slightly longer reach.

Keep it. There's not a better all rounder for the price.

Can anyone recommend a Replacement Lens Foot for the Z 100-400mm / Z70-200mm. I've been trying to find a Kirk LP-70 but no-one seems to stock them anymore in the UK. Is the RRS version any good?

Just ordered a Nikon 100-400mm from Park Cameras. With their current discount, and Black Friday promotion, price was £1,999. Pretty good, I thought, for an authorised dealer. Not much difference between them and Panamoz. Should be with me in the morning :)

That's interesting. The 100-400mm was on my wish list but then the 180-600mm was released and everyone was saying it was sharper. Those comments made me put my purchase on hold. The 180-600mm doesn't really fit my needs but my confidence in purchasing the 100-400mm was certainly dented. Anyone...

I'm not so sure. I think there will be plenty like me wanting those internals but in a Z 6/7 style camera.
