    Sunrise at Richmond Park

It's nice, but you really should have done a timelapse / video.

No idea about CSC / micro 4/3 etc etc (ditching SLR etc)

You do realise that a video is a series of photographs, right?

For a camera that produces video quality on a par with the RED Epic, it's cheap.

The GH4 s***s all over the 5D. It's the best camera in its price range by FAR. But people come with their pre-conceived ideas about sensor sizes being the be-all and end-all, and for some reason seem to be very loyal to Canon/ Nikon, despite the fact that their DSLR range is living about 10...

    B&W First attempt- portraits (BW)

The photos were taken in Regent's Park (London) and there wasn't much in the way of shelter. I really didn't plan anything about these shots, they were taken entirely on the spur of the moment. I guess in future I will think a LOT more about lighting and composition... Thanks for the replies...

    B&W First attempt- portraits (BW)

Hey, thanks for the reply. I see what you mean about 1 and 3. They were shot in the middle of the day and the light was pretty harsh. Maybe a filter would have been appropriate here? Well I got 1 decent shot out of 3, that's pretty good right?!

    I'm bl**dy useless a photo management!

Be ruthless. Delete anything that isn't "great". Even if you have a hundred "quite good" photos that you might want to do something with, forget it. Get rid of them. This will not only clean up your workflow and make it easier to focus on those few great photos, but will also make you more...

No laxative effect as far as I'm aware Steve, at least not in small amounts. Can possibly aggravate acid reflux, but you can minimise this risk by drinking a large glass of water immediately after eating it I believe.

    First attempt (London!)

I am by no means an expert when it comes to image editing, so I spent a while just messing around and ended up doing the following: In Camera Raw, I adjusted the colour temperature to 3300K and added a +8 tint. I upped the contrast to +40 and reduced highlights to -70. In terms of colour, +60...
