If you aren’t overly concerned with image quality, the K&F nano-X filter will deliver nice results. As for uneven skies, anything wider than 28mm’s will require extra attention when using a polarizing filter.

I just picked up a second D780. Love them. I just don’t care for the mirrorless systems.

How does the Tamron SP 24-135 perform on your digital body? I had and used one for many years on film bodies. I recently gave it away before pairing it to one of my D780 bodies.

The Nikon 80-400G (second edition) is an excellent lens. IMO, much more versatile than the 200-500.
