Well, I went to the camera shops yesterday arvo, looked around and ended up ordering a crumpler bag. I am a sucker for the fancy looks ;) The bags do look functional and capable though. I'll post when it arrives and I've tried it out.

I use a canon (there you go chuckles) and never had trouble with it. A mate of mine shoots with a nikon and never had trouble with that. So ... neither would be wrong, nor would the pentax ;) Go into Jessops, pick them all up, read some reviews. To figure out the zoom, it is 55 / 18 = 3...

So many choices ... ;) I've left it a bit late. I go away next week and need a new bag. Not a lot of time to shop around. The Rezo's look good too, similar to the crumpler pretty boy. The 180 looks a lot bigger than the 160.

Yeah, thats a nice looking bag. The sling bags also look pretty nice, so I might have to revise my 'no backpack' stance ;) I'm trying to shortlist so I can go into a store with an idea and try some out.

I've got a lowepro topload zoom 1 (http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Toploading/classic/Topload_Zoom_1.aspx). The zoom just fits, without the hood. I don't think the zoom 2 would work either, with the hood attached. It's pretty wide. I should have said, I'm not keen on the backpacks ;)

Morning all. I got 28-135 IS USM & 50mm f1.8 canon lenses for my 300D over the weekend (birthday pressies, from me to me ;) ). The trouble is, my lowepro bag is no longer suitable, so I need something else to carry them in. I'm trying to decide whether to get something to carry them...

I've been into camera stores before but not had a great deal of help. I'm torn at the moment because I have friends coming over from the states in 2 weeks and they've offered to get me a new lens. I had another thought as well. If it was the shutter or CCD I would expect it to affect all...

The curves were what made me think it's the lens. I would have thought if it were the shutter blade 'stuttering' I wouldn't see dark areas of similar exposure, with brighter areas in between. I'd expect a gradient across the image as one side was exposed for longer than the other. I did have...
