It does, but see @Kodiak Qc's comment from Friday

    Fathers day

Reading this makes me realise how lucky I am. We married less than a year after we met and everyone told us we were crazy and it would never last, that was almost 21 years ago. We've never felt the need to ask each other permission to do anything we just seem to instinctively know what each...

    Ransomware-Safe Backup Question

I probably overdo my backups if that's possible. We store almost nothing on the local, laptop drives. Everything is on the NAS. The NAS then backs itself up every night to both AWS and Azure (both cost less than £1 a month for the data I have). The cloud backup excludes all the ripped (sorry...

Series 3?!?!? Off to look now, I thought the first two were excellent.

    Beginner Premium Compacts

I really like my Fuji XQ1. Probably not in the league of an RX100 but quite a bit cheaper. Also seems Fuji don't offer anything in that range any more with no compacts under £1000. They do have the XQ2 on their refurb site which is where I got my XQ1 from and it was like new.

    Rugby World cup 2015 thread

Dreadful discipline from England and far too weak at the breakdown. Far too many lost balls in the Aus 22, turn that around and England could have been ahead in the first half then who knows. No way back and England deserved to lose

    Posting Camera with Batteries ??

You can print your own battery label from the RM site then just add "Ion" or "Polymer" in the space http://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/files/Example-Lithium-Battery-Handling-Label_0.pdf

    Ashes 2015

All done in 40 minutes. Now, when will the ECB realise that we shouldn't play at Lords any more, we always seem to lose there :)

    Wheeler Dealer - make money?

I can only watch it if I ignore Mr Brewer. I find his style quite grating. Edd China clearly knows what he's doing but there are times I cringe at what they do when "restoring" a classic

    Adobe CC Questionnaire

I have been a subscriber before and was considering restarting it but, if there are price increases in the offing I will probably just plump for LR6 and forgo CC. Don't think I ever saw a need for PS in the time I had it (not for what I was doing, I do see why others may need it)

    Buying a domain name (?)

I use SmugMug and I think it does a pretty good job but it depends on what you want. I just wanted an easy way to share photos with family and friends. It's a bit weird to get used to how to build the galleries and so on but once you work it out it's easy to extend. Link to my SmugMug site is...

    I hate iTunes!

iTunes won't be looking in the folders, it will be looking in it's library. The library is normally in <yourusername>/Music (or however, Windows organises things nowadays) so the two admin accounts have probably got separate libraries. To change iTunes library, hold down the SHIFT key while...

    Beginner Photoshop.

I'm torn on this too. The monthly plan will cost the same over 12 months as buying Lightroom outright but includes Photoshop. During the month's trial I only used Lightroom and never felt the need to go into Photoshop (to the point that it's not actually installed). Having just paid £5k to...

    How secure are yours?

Mine are duplicated on mirrored drives in the NAS. They back up any changes to Amazon Glacier every night and once a month I back up the whole NAS to an external drive that does not live in the house. So, at any given time there are at least two copies, the next day there are three and within...
