    On board light advise

Thanks for the info. Very bright... at about 4' away it is making me squint on 100% power, for an interview light I could say too bright at 100%. Reasonably soft... the silicone diffuser does seem to take the harshness away, but because of the low level used it isnt going to create extremely...

    On board light advise

So, bought this one... https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0B63CRMKC/ref=ewc_pr_img_3?smid=A1R83JE18GEU2L&psc=1 Very bright, reasonable soft with the silicone diffuser on, loads of run time and has the RGB effects if I ever need it. Really happy, might get a second one and use two of these...

    On board light advise

I am using a Canon R6 mk2 which does well in lower light situations, just need this to lift the face slightly. I don't want to knock the background down too much so imagine using it on low power. I have some larger LED panels with barn doors for anything more organised. I just have a job coming...

    On board light advise

I've narrowed it down to this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0B63CRMKC/ref=ewc_pr_img_3?smid=A1R83JE18GEU2L&psc=1 before I remembered about this post! Looks like it the bigger brother! Thank you. T

    Compact travel tripods

Not a bad idea, but I still have to cart them about from job to job along with the other kit! I have ordered a couple of amazon to see how stable they are, will send them back if not up to the job!

    Compact travel tripods

A kind offer but I don't think it will work for me. It is too long and heavy to go in the case with all the other kit. If I could just drive to the job I would consider it, but there is a flight involved! Thank you, T

    Compact travel tripods

interesting design, I can see how the 3 piece column would give it a lot more stability! Pricey though for my needs, I need two and only going to use them for 10 days after Christmas, then sit them in a cupboard until next year!

    Compact travel tripods

I need the height to get above people's heads sitting watching a concert. The camera will be shooting 4k video and not be operated my anyone, so just static. I will put in pans and zoom in the edit as it will be on a HD timeline. A friend of mine has the befree and I tried fully extended the...

    Compact travel tripods

Hi All, I need two tripods for a video job abroad this new year. I need it compact, stable and not too expensive (yes, I know!!). It will be for R6 MK2's and 24-105 lenses. I need about 6' in height and will need to case them. I liked at my mates manfrotto befree but with the camera and lens of...

Canon 2.8 ef 17-55 or nearest

EF17-40 and EF16-35 are both full frame wide angle zooms made by Canon. I think they are L glass, and available in f4 and f2.8. I have used the 16-35mm f2.8 mk11 and it is a very sharp lens! T

Mac Mini or Mac Studio? Help me choose.

I use a Mac book pro, the original M1, 13", 512/16gb ram. I always shoot in 4k, usually have multiple layers in premier pro on a 1080 timeline, synchronising clips (multi camera), scaling, colour grading etc. Graphics and lower thirds etc from after effects, and don't feel the need for anything...
