Let me rephrase the question. What sort of studio kit should I aim for? I would like to get the best photos possible in a home studio set up.

Took this a couple of weeks ago in Croydon. Please critique. It is converted to B&W. Anything wrong with this? Is the lighting correct? Over exposed? Is the composition as best as could be captured? Anything wrong at all?

Yes it may seem like Jpeg processing, but I would trust LR to do the Jpeg processing more than the camera itself. LR on a competent powerful computer should do a lot better no?
