Might only be a pound a week but if I add all the pounds here and pounds there for hosting and editing it all adds up.

Lovely evening yesterday so went for a stroll along Sandbanks in Poole. Hardly anyone about unlike just a few weeks back when you couldn't get a parking space.

As the Studland ferry has been out of action for most of this summer I haven't been across the water much this year. Then the day after the last bank holiday I decided to join the traffic jams and drive round. Came away with this image which I quite like so made the journey worthwhile. Ps...

Just a quick update. I hired a Canon 70-300 l from Castle Camera's and I was so impressed I'm buying this lens. With the sigma MC11 the 70-300 is right up there with the sigma 35mm f1.4 art and 70-200mm f2.8 mkii on focusing speed, accuracy and sharpness. Obviously if money wasn't a problem...

Thank you for the reply. Good to hear it's a sharp lens, that's more important than the focusing. I was sort of expecting the focus to be hit and miss so I'm happy with "OK" If I was to purchase the Canon it will be used mainly for landscape photography so will be manually focused anyway...

Hi peeps! Has anyone tried the Canon 70-300 L on the Sony a7iii with the sigma MC-11. Your thoughts on focusing, sharpness etc please. I was actually looking at purchasing the sigma 100-400mm but have been offered the Canon at a good price so now not sure which way to go. Sony is over budget...

Thanks for the reply. By the look of things no one has any negatives to put me off buying one. I am VERY tempted in the 24-70 GM too. I'm popping into Castle Cameras Bournemouth later today, hopefully I make the right choice. [emoji3]
