Was - 138 secs - AMD Athlon x64 4800+/ 4Gb DDR800
Now - 14 secs!!!!!!
Only had a chance to play with it for a few minutes before heading off for a wedding but impressed so far.

Smart response looks like a great idea but seems it might be better suited if your only using 1 HDD and dont want to think about where to store or install things. Would be great for a laptop or everyday desktop.

Working with it every day once you have a good process its pretty simple and its cheaper as a raw material than most metals, tooling doesnt have to be as robust as metal form tools etc. I would definately expect to pay less but for most people its shiny, new technology and good talking...

As above a longer exposure and more focused light could work well. If going for star trails though id recommend a series of 30sec-5min exposures and blend them...
