I think it comes down to your time available to learn PS and whether you want to pay for CC forever vs buying LR 6 standalone. Lightroom is much easier to learn than PS and with LR 6/CC, it's even easier to stay in LR and there may be less need to jump to PS, depending on what you want to do...
