    LR6 Update 6.2.....Problems..?

It's supposed to fix most of the problems, but some users in one of the Adobe forums are saying the Wacom pen is slow when dragging sliders and others are still saying it crashes. Also many people, including myself, are disappointed that Adobe removed features from the import process like the...

cs3 or creative cloud and lightroom

I think it comes down to your time available to learn PS and whether you want to pay for CC forever vs buying LR 6 standalone. Lightroom is much easier to learn than PS and with LR 6/CC, it's even easier to stay in LR and there may be less need to jump to PS, depending on what you want to do...

    Lightroom 6

I think April 21 is the date too and I can't wait to see the new features. I got the email about Scott Kelby's "Special Big Thing," so what else could it be. He also put out a short video on YouTube about this super secret thing.

Best Lightroom and Photoshop blogs and tutorials

Thanks so much everyone for your great suggestions to my photographers resource list. For the last couple weeks I've been working my "behind" off collecting, sorting and organizing newly-suggested resources. Now I have more than 300 links (and very blurry eyes)! So many resources, in fact, that...

    Lightroom 6

There were a couple articles in Petapixel with leaked info. The main improvements are it will use your computer's GPU for faster processing (hence the 64 bit / OS 10.8 requirement), HDR creation and panorama stitching. I'm in California and haven't seen an official announcement yet either. I...

    Buying LR Presets...?

Yes a preset that looks great on one image may look terrible on another, so I don't tend to buy them. And many of the effects are so far fetched, why would you want that look? However, now and then I've gotten some pretty nice ones for free and they've been a good learning tool, i.e. how did...

is the ipad really a useful editor?

Lightroom for Mobile is good for filtering images, i.e. adding star ratings and flags, but you have to put them in a collection first. Maybe very basic editing is ok, but then it seems to me you are editing twice which doesn't exactly speed up your workflow. And I agree, if it's not calibrated...
