    Changing ISP

I use ZEN for the reason that they are always the best wherever I have seen them used... Bear in mind that most if not all broadband is in fact sold originally by BT to third parties... (Including ZEN) they have one real advantage though.... If you don't get broadband for 24 hours they start to...

    End to 'free' bank accounts?

National Australia Group bought my old bank ( Clydesdale ) it was a terrific bank before they got hold of it. I had a bank manager that was a real person who made calculated decisions on approvals for any loan I wanted based on his knowledge of me and my personal circumstances. Not some software...

    Results of the Wartle shoot..

I dont use one purely because i think its just another thing to carry and use. It definitely had its placed with film but as digital is instant i can tell immediately that my subjects head has blown out . For general portraits i,d buy some other lenses or another flashgun :)

I like the image but I have to say. The sparks flying out look a bit fake... Did you add some?

Maybe you were trying for "lit" images of individuals? In which case you are carrying your flash on camera and you are way too far way. Its not a "marmite" thing about flash as its the subjects who are boring. and the poorly used flash. For instance, The shop window where the flash just bounces...

First attempt at off camera light/portraiture/location

I like the last one. Number two has great light but the models leg pose made me think the horse had bolted... Number 3, I would have liked more light down that tunnel( maybe a hidden flash near the end??) If thats your first attempt then you have lots of talent. Lets see more! Nice model too !

    Stratford Road Project

Love it! getting out there and talking to all those people is the best benefit you will get. Generally people are suprised and flattered when you want to take their picture. "You want to take MY picture?" I kinda liked "Rory"... now thats a doo!

    Critique wanted girl against black

Yes that better, The dogs unfortunately never co-operate do they ? "Here boy" just makes em walk off the set! If you are struggling with too much power from the lights try using one flash and a reflector If you dont have one use a sheet or a space blanket... If you want low controllable light...

    Working Class Hero

The positioning is a bit random... Did you make it mono due to the green cast of the flourescent lighting?? follow the mantra "head in a clean spot". the butty is orrible... as is the bin ...
