Looks cool, you haven't lightened the foreground which is interesting. I didn't want to lighten it originally but felt that thats what most photographers do so did it. Maybe I should go with my gut more and keep things more natural?...
This is the unedited version. I do like darker images, not sure if that's to everyone's taste. Still learning the art of photography, self taught there's so much to learn! This is the first photography I have attempted with my new D7200. Before that everything on flickr is done with a D3300...
Literally all I have done is an adjustment brush to dodge the top of the lighthouse because I used a N grad filter in situ, there was a red light in the lighthouse rectangular window which I removed. I lightened the foreground slightly and I increased the vibrance to +10.
I do indeed and this was exactly what I saw on Sunday morning, so lucky! Not sure if I should brighten it up a bit but then it was taken early in the morning so figure it should look like what I saw.
I will be following this, I generally like slightly underexposed images according to histograms. To my eye they look superior but not not sure if that's what is needed for most tastes?

The AF-S lens has a "silent wave" motor in the actual lens and this allows it to focus smoothly and silently but the AF-P lens has a newer focussing motor which is a "pulse" motor and are apparently even quieter than the AF-S so are even better if you are likely to shoot videos.
