I didn't consider that but probably not. I always pack too much especially with gadgets and camera equipment so will likely take the one body.

Thanks. And that's why I'm even more on the fence regarding the 35mm (effective 52mm on my D5200) vs something in the 20mm range.

In two minds. When I got my A7iii, I used my Samyang 85 1.4 more at first - took me a while to get into my Tamron 28-75 2.8. However it's now my go to lens but I do finding myself wanting more width and a bit more light. I'm off to NY in a couple of months and have several days to myself to...

Been a while since last posting, what timing with the Milky Way shot above. Finally got mine done after finding great conditions, just took going to the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan and an angry wild dog kicking off at me whilst setting up. Worth the wait.

What's the best solution for W10 built in RAW support for Sony camera's when viewing in Explorer? Got a load of photos to edit and I usually do several waves of deleting in Explorer before I switch over to LR. However, it's a bit slow and cumbersome as I when I use the Photos app - I have to...

Had my first wedding shoot with the A7iii at the weekend, as a favour to one of my wife's best friends. Also had the delight of renting the Sony 70-200 2.8 GM - what a lush lens, really enjoyed using it. The day shots seem good but really struggling with low light indoor and off camera flash, so...

Hope you get it sorted but don't forget you have 7-8 years of good service with them, yes one bad experience can tarnish it but that's a lot of good ones to throw it all away. Finger crossed.

Yeah we're going to start off small. My stepfather knows Elan Valley well but probably best to hold off traversing it at 3am so will start off local at first. Fingers crossed we get to see Devil's Bridge whilst I am there also :).

Wowsers - that's a great tool, thanks. Just look at Wales!!! Better get preparing - want to try and see if I can capture any of the Milky Way.

Thanks, I'll pitch it to my stepfather. Haha good point, being in London - I assume light pollution is everywhere.

Not entirely sure yet as it will depend on how far my stepfather is willing to drive. Reckon maybe 1-1.5 hours drive from Lampeter. Thanks for the later suggestion but that might be too far. I have noted down the following which are all an hour away..... Elan Valley Usk Reservoir Cray...

So I take it the 35mm GM is just as good as predicted? It was my most used focal length on my D5200, though that was cropped. After recently getting an A7iii - 85mm is definitely a keeper for me. I am liking the Tamron 28-75 but I am wondering if I would prefer a prime 35mm instead. And then...

Had my first play of an ND filter yesterday. Quite fun though all the birds were crowding by me so had to distract them with stones (bread in their eyes) to the side . One duck by the sign wasn't falling for that.
