Nikon D800 with SB900 and 2 x Meike 910 issue (or maybe not)

Bought a couple of Mieke 910's off here the other day and they seem very capable flashes.
I tried the Nikon CLS last night to try and fire them all.

Here was what I got.

1. Using On Camera Flash as Master it only fired the SB900
2. Using the SB900 it fired all three.

Anyone know of any reason why the on camera flash as master would not fire all 3?

All in remote mode? Were they in the line of sight of the master?

Yes. All in remote and all had LOS. Same Grp, Channel etc.

Meh. I can't remember tbh but i have controlled them with my d7000 and d7100 before so it is possible. Somehow...
