Hi

I'm going to a wedding next month in Whem, Shropshire but also spending a few days down there.

Can anyone recommend good locations. Hoping to do Ironbridge and Shrewsbury.

Church Stretton - Long Mynd
Explore more than just Ironbridge - head up to Coalport too.
Leighton - River Severn meanders just outside of Ironbridge, past Buildwas.
Hawkstone Park & Follies
Stokesay Castle, Craven Arms
Clee Hills - Brown Clee, Clee and Titterstone Clee.
Powis Castle

The list goes on. Plenty of castles; both ruins and still standing.
 
Blist hill open air Victorian museum.
I'll second Bridgnorth (i live just outside of it).
Coalbrookdale.
Severn Valley railway from Bridgnorth too Kidderminster.
Daniels mill, working water wheel, used for flour making.
 
Much Wenlock is good not just for the Hight Street and Abbey but also for Wenlock Edge which has some great views across the Shropshire Hills.
 
I didn't realise about Blist Hill until I saw this post. I love the Black Country Museum in Dudley but this may be a bit further than you wanted to travel.

Also just seen the date and realised this will be passed now.
