Pics from The Peaks

Very nice, Nick, specially the last... the sort of image that's really hard for a "full frame" camera with most lenses (I got a similar shot with a small sensor compact once, but yours is much better).

Why would the film numbers be showing through?
Thanks Chris, I'm quite pleased with them although the tweaking in LR really helps. They are a little grainy although these are the low res scans from FilmDev so I should be able to improve on them once I get the negs back. Really impressed with their service, posted on the Wednesday last week and got the download link the following day. I'm just downloading another batch this morning although I'm off to work soon so may not have time to get anything more posted.

I think some of the numbers are showing through due to it being a rather old roll that had been sitting in my camera bag for far too long.

Great photos Nick, you've got some super photos from the pinhole. I love the first one of the three. Any idea you've got the backing paper numbers coming through? I've heard that there were some batches of Kodak film that had this issue, but so far I've been lucky!

Edit: ok, I didn't realise there was a second page to the thread. Should have read that before I replied

Some b&w from the Voigtlander Vitomatic II on Fomapan 100.

Cromford Canal, Pump House. A couple of shots stitched vertically because 50mm is way too long for some shots.

A sign, A sign... if only we had seen it earlier. :D

@Carl Hall I really like your second shot from the RB. Not really sure why, I think the composition just works and the blue barrel adds enough contrast.

@RaglanSurf A good selection of pinhole results. I'm the same as Chris and like the last one the most with the slightly surreal view through the half-demolished building. I'm hoping the latest roll through my pinhole delivers results like that now it's not pretending to be a sieve!

@Andysnap I really like all of those results from the Fomopan, especially the first stitched shot. I bet that would look good printed too.

One from the Intrepid, loaded with Ektar, processed by Peak, scanned on the V750 with Vuescan, no tweaking. Also I think it may need flipping but I can't quite remember the lay out.

I like that Nick, lovely and sharp. What lens was this taken with?

Thanks Andy, I'm not 100% sure but I think its Schneider Kreuznach Symar S 5.6/150.

It doesn't need flipping, the wall on the left had a little tunnel in it which lead to the footpath and the mill ruins.
Thanks Janet (y)

Oh no! That is just the sort of image that makes you think you need a large format camera!

Beautiful image, flipped or not!
