Excellent photo, but you may want to revise your title in case anyone was expecting to see sunbathers upper thigh areas.

What you have photographed are "groynes" :)

I agree - colour one works because of the green seaweed on the posts against the sky, good colours, but I really like the black and white one because it just pulls that sky out.
 
I actually prefer the one on the first post. Much more moody
 
Normally I'd be going for the B&W version but that in colour is absolutely gorgeous too, hard one to decide!!
 
Love the mono conversion. It's the sort of subject that really lends itself to mono as losing the colour really draws out the textures in the posts, the sand and the clouds. Exactly the right sort of clouds, too, to put some drama into it. I can't decide which is best - the original or Alf's edit. Possibly somewhere between the two.
