Best shows on Prime/Netflix?

Scarpetta on Prime. I haven't read the books, but Mrs Marc has. I thought it was rather good and am looking forward to season 2.
Probably good that you haven’t read the books to be fair, as IMO Nicole Kidman is nothing like the book character. We’ve watched a few episodes and thought it was…. hmmm, okay. Jamie Lee Curtis steals every scene she’s in.

Given that these are the character 28 years after the books, how does the actor playing the young Scarpetta hold up?

She’s pretty good. Still nothing like I imagined Scarpetta from the book, but much better than Nicole Kidman plays her.

I've been trying to watch Person of Interest, but struggling. It feels like a cheap attempt at The Blacklist. I'm not sure if it's the script, the acting or the music but something just makes it look very "soap".

Finished both seasons of Big Cats 24/7 on iPlayer. Loved it.

Person of Interest was out before the Blacklist, and the idea behind it is pretty dark. I loved it, except the last series that got cut short and didn't really "end" properly.

I didn't know that, it really does feel like a cheap copy as well.

I watched it from episode one when it first came out.
Some great characters especially Root, I agree the ending could have been better.
Blacklist was ok, but I thought it ran out of steam and stopped watching it.
Currently watching Fringe again, another great series with bit of a let down truncated ending.

Felt similar about the Blacklist, after that major event (trying not to spoil it) I stopped on the assumption that it would probably not be the same.

Exactly, it was a strange thing to do seeing as it was the whole premise of the show.

I've been catching up on The Boys on Prime, this is the last season and I think that's about as they could stretch it - still enjoyable but less sense the more it continues

Last One Laughing on Prime Video. Who knew watching comedians trying not to laugh could be so funny!
I wasn't sure on the idea and it started a bit slow but I found it really hilarious at times, I've just started on the second series which I've been looking forward to...the various smirks and expressions when they try to hide their amusement are out in full force already.

I liked the initial idea of Person of Interest where each episode was individual and they had a different story each time but I lost interest as it progressed into what I thought were very silly ideas about rival supercomputers.

I thought it started off well but I've also gradually been losing interest and kind of forgotten what even happened in the last series but will watch the final series to see how it ends. Have you watched Gen V? I thought the first series was solid and enjoyed the second series more than the later series of the Boys,

We watched The beast in me on Netflix. I doubt there's a likeable charecter in it but it kept us going until the end. Also watching Person of interest and amazed that people can be shot in the shoulder or stomach and recover quickly with no ill effects but it's entertaining if you take your brain out.

The expression Daisy May Cooper pulled was hilarious!

Yeah I watched Gen V, thought it was decent and as you say got better as it went along. You definitely want to be familiar with the Boys to enjoy it though

Just watching "Love and War" on Disney plus.

Dic following photo journalist Lynsey Addario. Excellent so far, and has a lot of WTF moments.

Will be a while before it hits the streaming services, but a new Star Wars film coming soon: The Mandalorian and Grogu

I'm looking forward to it. But I still reckon it's a crappy title ;)

I never even thought about the title! lol Damn you!
Sorry mate ;)
But on the plus side, the film can't be anywhere near as bad
:ROFLMAO:
