I received an email allegedly from DVLA asking me to click a link so I could confirm my direct debit details as my vehicle tax is up for renewal soon.
Clearly a scam as the address it is from is nothing like DVLA but more so because Mrs T is the registered owner of our car and taxes it in her name.
I thought I would do the right think and report it. I did not know where to send it so I googled, "How to report a scam email." and found the address 'report@phishing.gov.uk'
I got reply with the title 'Undeliverable' and the reason for the failure to deliver was - Message blocked because it contains content identified as spam.
Isn't that the point of an email address set up to receive dodgy emails?
