Yes
I shoot a fair bit of video, and I'm tempted by a 360 camera. I ordered the DJI 360, but that deal collapsed as the dealer couldn't get the camera.
I'm trying to decide if I've had a lucky escape, or am I missing a useful addition to my cameras.
What are your thoughts, anyone use a 360?
I actually prefer the look of X5, but the DJI was silly cheap ( possibly why the dealer bailed).

if you shoot a lot, i would think it's a useful addition if you can justify the cost for use in special cases that make it worthwhile e.g. walking/moving, racing, events backstage, unpredictable action (you can reframe), virtual tours, bts....

Thanks both.
Yes, I think a lot of what they do is more special case, but the do have the advantage of the full 360, and apparently they work well as action/ vlog type stuff.
I'm seriously tempted.

It depends on your circumstances. For example if you do work for domestic estate agents (and that was something they wanted - hint not all are interested in it - video on the other hand is more sought after), then that sort of work is high volume, low price and rapid turnaround. In that situation a dedicated 360 is useful because it speeds up the process, although there is a cost in terms of image quality when compared to an image compiled from a regular camera and then stitched together in something like PTGUI.

A friend of mine has a insta360, His videos are normally done for his dives in the sea with low ambient light at times up to 30 meters deep. His videos are excellent and the 360 is what makes the video as shooting underwater in dive gear gives you limited vision. What I like about it is you cant see him holding the handle you sometimes see his hand shaped around it. all depends on what you are doing, I personally use a go pro and as good as they are at times this 360 is so much better and will be a future purchase.

I did get one, the DJI, as I already have other DJI cameras they can share batteries and mics.
So far I haven't done any proper videos, just played with it and the software.
There is a learning curve. It's very different style of shooting.
I gave to say the quality is excellent in 360, and single lens mode.
The low light option is amazing, better than the action 5, and the stability is crazy good.
