I don't know why, but the latest iPhone ad irritates me.
"Once you've been to the moon, where do you go next?" They make it sound like they built a rocket and went to the moon, rather than have phones be taken by astronauts who took pictures with a phone as they went past the moon.
"And our first variable aperture for better low-light photography..." Won't changing the aperture reduce light?
They make it sound like the variable aperture somehow gets you more light. Yet the reality is the iPhone 17 Pro had a camera with a f1.8 lens, and the iPhone 18 Pro has a camera with a f1.5 widest aperture, so f0.3 wider. Yes, it is technically wider, but not because of the aperture.
"and creative control" I'll give them that one, to some degree, with a lens that can change from f1.5>f4 on a small sensor.
