(The IQ of the crop is acceptable, I would say. But the great DoF of the UWA lens does not isolate the subject from the background.

A uniform background would be helpful for a case like this ... )

Hi, following my own recommendation ... (M9 - VOIGTLÄNDER Super-Wide Heliar 4,5/15 III ; f 4,5 ; crop) :

@Mr Perceptive The quirk on the Q3 where you only get an accurate representation of the final image on screen / EVF when half pressing only in full manual mode..... is there a work around to use Auto ISO and still have that luxury :ROFLMAO: Just set mine up and it seems to be the same as it was from launch, not a huge issue but the dimming of the screen / EVF is a niggle.
I have to say the AF accuracy seems massively improved.

What firmware are you on??

I’m still on 3.1.1 - I like the interface and the AF is fast enough for me.

I might change one camera to 4.x just to see how I get on with it.

So I can’t repeat any testing you do - how’s the grey?
The grey is stunning, kind of don't want to hide it in case but......

I remember seeing those around when I was a kid.
A few of us chipped in and bought a Puch pedal motorbike in the 70's and used it on the Ash playing fields at our local school. The days of using pedals for using a motorbike. !!

The photo @justpix posted seems to be a lot older bike.?

I’ve looked through many pages of this thread and can’t see anything that stands out as ‘ah that’s a Leica photo’ :exit:

What is it that I am not seeing? or is it the experience of using a Leica?
I don't own a Leica, I used to sell them for Wey Cameras. The difference between Leica & the Japanese lenses is Leice give a true level of sharpness whereas Japanese lenses often have more contrast to make images look sharp. With Sony utilising Zeiss lenses and some other manufacturers using German lenses maybe this has become more balanced of late.

Looking at justpic photos with their M camera with the quality of sharpness and detail makes them stand out as Leica images in my humble opinion. Beautiful Bokeh too

Hi, the IQ is due to the CCDsensor of the M9 and the M mount lenses. -
