    A couple from my walk in the Dales today that seem to work better in portrait rather than landscape. I realise they are not going to be award winners but do they work compositionally? Any comments appreciated as my landscape photography is an area I'm keen to improve...

    Lone Tree Malham Cove

    So took my first trip to the Malham cove area in the Yorkshire Dales with the plan to get this picture. I couldn't believe just how calm it was, not even a wisp of a breeze. Great as the tree didn't move, bad because the the clouds didn't move much which isn't ideal for a long exposure...
