New on here, been an amateur photographer for close to 20 years. Looking for some advice from the collective wisdom on here, as I've realised I'm rather out-of-date on the software side.

It seems that DxO are offering 50% off all products.
As PhotoLab user is it worth getting the DxO Nik plugins suite or indeed their Film Pack or Viewpoint programs?
FWIW as I have LR and PS I have been happy with the perspective correction tools to Viewpoint likely of minimal interest...
I had an email from DxO about their newest version of PhotoLab (current in 1.2.1) this is v2
Having had a look even on their own user forum and it seems many folk are underwhelmed...............remarking the improvements are more like a .dot release and not the next major version!

I'm thinking of getting DXO because I can't afford the £8 you pay for Light room once a month, I heard you pay yearly with DXO and only pay for the fancy add on's if you want them. But what it comes with should be just enought for me.
Has anyone used this software please?
