I am so impressed with the Nikon 85mm 1.8. The lens is so fast and the images are amazingly sharp. Amazing portrait lens but hopefully will also prove to be a good all round travel lens (travel - remember that anyone?!)

I was in Andalsnes, Norway, working as a musician on a cruise ship and managed to snap this. I really like the scene.

Back in December the Netherlands (and much of north west Europe) was bombarded with snow. I moved to Delft from London a few years ago (hence not so active on here these days) but wanted to share some of the photos I managed to get near my house on the outskirts of this beautiful town...
