Hi All,
This is my first, what I would class as a 'proper' woodland image.
Interested in any thoughts/critique etc.

All Pentax 645z and 28-45
**btw make sure your browser is set to support Adobe 1998 colour space - or these won't look right - I forgot to export in sRGB**
These were taken in the high forest path on the way to Ibonet de Batisielles. I had planned to shoot reflections but the light was all...
All with the 645z and 45-85.
Went to the woods at Kinclaven. Nice place to spend time in. However couldn't quite get the shots to work the way I wanted to them so made some ICM's instead.

Have I taken leave of my senses?
Probably. Whilst I enjoyed exploring this little bit of forest near Loch Chon these style of pictures will never hold the appeal of the big vista style shot, or detail mountain shot. However this was what the weather conditions offered with a thick fog killing...
Hi I want to try woodland photography and looking for some nice forest near (1hr drive) Glasgow. Preferably something with resemblence to ancient forests, but anything wild will do ;)
Can you please help?

I’m a huge Mark Littlejohn fan - from his satirical outlook to his locations and processing.
I’ve been looking for gnarled and grizzly trees for ages, I’ve tried Cod Beck Reservoir near Northallerton, the moors north of Rivaleaux Abbey and Isthmus Bay and Hodge Close quarry in the lakes but...
Nev Cartledge - Wondered if anyone else is watching this chap? Lots of quirky humour, more misfortune than Thomas Heaton and the landscape images are (in my opinion) really lovely. Not sure I could cope with 11 years in a camper though - the water frozen in the saucepan in less than an hour is...
A few recent woodland photos, taken in and around Hovingham - Yearsley in North Yorkshire.

A glimpse of Autumn.
We're not quite in the Autumn season just yet, but I couldn't think of a decent title. :D Here's a photo from yesterday, taken on Strensall Common, near York.

Hi guys
Im looking for some suggestions for some family / portrait shoots that are nice and woodland. Im wanting somewhere that has fairly wide walking paths, with not too much around in terms of houses / industrial around. First thoughts were Otley Chevin, but wanting to find some variations...
Emerging leaves of a Sycamore tree i believe. Taken on a sunny walk in the woods the other day with a Canon 5dii and 16-35mm lens at 35mm, f/6.3, 1/200 and 200 ISO.
