Has no-one not noticed that with the 'eye' on the log by its left leg it looks like it's sitting on the back of a crocodile ..:D

Yes..it does.

Martin, we..my wife and I ...are in Cornwall until the 13th..overlooking Poldhu Cove. As I write...1125am... drizzle hitting the patio windows..high winds,rough sea..tide turning to go out with heavy rain forecast so no cliff-top walk to Gunwalloe or the other way to Mullin and more of the same until Wednesday so no photos of the Mullion golf club resident kestrel but hope to get Moushole christmas lights. These current featureless inclement weather skies do nothing to inspire photography.

Just watched a crow/rook attack a buzzard passing by the cove..make sure it keeps going, I suppose...:)
