1.4 tc with d5500

does anyone know if the sigma 1.4 tele converter will auto focus when mounted on a Nikon d5500?

Works great on my d610 but wondering as the d5500 doesn't have its own focus motor, will it autofocus.

Why ask about the teleconverter when you're really asking about the lens which you have? Just try the lens on the camera and the TC will work the same.
Of course, knowing exactly which version of the lens you have would help. If it has HSM in its name then it has a built-in motor and will auto-focus with any current Nikon.

If the lens focuses on the D5500 without a teleconverter, then it will focus on the camera with a teleconverter. If not, not.
