Hi Guys,

I've been looking at buying a Sigma 10-20 from Amazon, but on the sale page, it says:

Dispatched and sold by British Bargains.

Earlier when I looked there was a different supplier.

Is there any problems in buying from Amazon from a seller that isn't Amazon?

What warranty would come with the lens, and is this direct with Sigma?

Thanks.

I see I can buy from Amazon for £370.

If this was the case, I guess that this would come with a Sigma UK warranty?

Mine did last year

Amazon.co.uk themselves aren't noted for "passing off" grey imports - though you do have to watch where you're actually buying from and not getting something from one of their "marketplace partners" as they don't always have the same scruples :naughty:

I personally wouldn't buy an electrical item from an Amazon 3rd party seller, having been sent a load of old crap when I bought an iphone a few years ago. To be fair, when I contacted Amazon, they were great, and I got a refund and sent the item back. I'd happily buy from Amazon direct though.

I bought the Nikon 55-200mm lens from them and it arrived quickly and seems pretty genuine etc to me. Didn't look like a grey import or anything and was about £100 cheaper than other websites...
