10 stop filters - coated or Multi coated ?

in general you should always go for a multicoated filter however not all brands make multicoated versions of all filters

Lastly keep in mind that some brands may have different benefits. B+W MRC are supposed to be tougher and easier to clean

The new multi-coated B+W is the best extreme ND out there ATM. It's the most neutral, and their MRC is excellent. It's also very expensive
I think the only other multi-coated one is the LightCraftWorkshop ND500MC that I use. It's much cheaper, more like 8.5 stops, pretty neutral and works fine, but the multi-coating doesn't appear to be anything very special.

B+W in my humble opinion make the best filters so for the ones i use regularly i only buy from them.

MC B+W is about £150 in 77mm.
Yes, you get what you pay for, on a rapidly sliding scale of dimishing returns.
You could shoot side by side with the 10-stop Haida filter for £40 and after a custom white balance you'd not be able to tell them apart in 99.9% of situations.
