100mm f/2

Anyone use/own a Canon 100mm f/2..? Like to hear your views on this prime please.

I've recently bought a used/mint Canon 85mm f/1.8, any benefit with adding a 100mm f/2 to my prime collection?

Far too similar in my opinion, you gain virtually nothing. There will be nothing you can do with the 100mm that you can't do with the 85mm already.
Spend the money on a different focal length, perhaps a 35mm f2, or 24mm f2.8 if you're into primes.

sound advice. It's optically very similar to the 85mm, pretty much the same design.

If you already have the 85mm, I'd look elsewhere.

35mm f/2 and the 85mm f/1.8 makes a nice lightweight combo with a 5D IME. Keep the lens you're not using in a (large-ish) jacket pocket.
