14 Stop ND Filter

Surely one must exist? I'm finding that a ten stopper just isn't cutting it for some of the shots I want to pull off. I want to keep my glass in it's sweet spot and keep IQ, which means f/18 max and no stacking of filters.

Anyone know of such a filter?

I'm thinking a 14 stopper should do it.

I think a lens cap's only a 13 stop !!!

Are you trying to shoot 20 secs in midday sun or something?

And soz - but I've never come across such a high ND - EDIT - just checked the B&W range (which I use) and it only goes up to 10 stops - so good luck finding a 14

30 seconds in midday sun actually. lol

Actually it's not so much always the shutter speed I'm after, I would like the option of retaining a shallow DoF whilst having a long'ish exp.

If I have to stack then I'll stack, but I thought I'd check if there was a 'purer' way of getting the same result.
