4 1/200sec @f4.5 ISO200, bit annoyed with myself for losing focus a bit on this, but it's such a fun image, and reflects the atmosphere of the day so well, so have included it.

Super shots Les - I really like all of those, the ladies look absolutely fantastic (and stunning) - looks authentic - nice work from you and very nice work from them with the effort to do the recreation. I'd love to go to one of those events.

Well worth a look if they hold anything similar in your area, they are great fun, usually a carnival atmosphere, and most of the participants are more than happy to pose for the photographer :)

Nice set, love the face in #2.

Did you catch the girl doing her lipstick in #1 or was it posed?

I got a very similar one in leyburn last year where she posed until she was happy with the image :)

Mark, it was semi-posed, she was sat on the ground doing her lippy anyway when I asked her for a shot, so she quite happily struck this pose, she's also pleased with the shot :)

Beautiful clean images.
Looking at your shutter speed, as you mentioned fill flash, was it HSS?

Yes it was Paul, my usual method for these events is to dial in -2/3 stop on the flash, and -1/3 to 2/3 on camera and 'feel' my way in. Luckily we were blessed with good light most of the day (slightly overcast), so getting the light balance wasn't too difficult.

Loving these,it would be great to find something like this in my area.:)

Another good set from this event Les ... the only thing giving it away is the perfect sets of teeth :D

LOL, and I don't think Nitty Nora The Head Explorer (lice nurse) would get much business either :)
