1D Mark 1

Hello all!

I've just been offered a 1D Mark 1 with 4 extra batterys and the charger and stuff for a good price of 300 quid

You guys reckon its worth it?

I'm pretty happy with my Len's atm using mostly a 28-135 IS USM and its a good len's, but i also shoot a 28-90 and nifty 50!

My current body- 300d is bit rubbish but i sitll get awsome pictures off it! I don't do any prints so MP doesn't really matter to me I shoot for a local paper a little bit, but other than that thats all i do!

So... Good Deal?

if you need a fast camera for sports/news and do not need anything higher then 400iso and you do not need auto rotate then it is a good camera - built like a tank.
Short battery life, and heavy. It will sync with your flash at 1/500th sec.

it is a bit pointless. Find a mark 2 for only £100-150 more. That will be a much more useful camera.
